We have a total of 31 dog pens housed in the main kennel block, each having their own sleeping area and unrestricted access to a spacious external covered run. The Kennels have been specially constructed to cater for each dogs personal requirements. They have plenty of natural light and ventilation, and in the colder months they benefit from individual thermostically controlled heated baskets as well as additional heating throughout the kennel block.
Most dogs prefer a soft, comfortable, raised off the floor resting place which is why we use Kuranda raised dog beds. We supply luxurious fleece bedding but in addition we encourage you to bring something familiar from home to help them settle in.
It goes without saying that hygiene is of the utmost importance and all our kennels are throughly cleaned between occupants, and a daily cleaning routine is carried out with great attention to detail. As you would expect, every dog is brushed and cared for by our dedicated staff throughout the day.
Should you decide you would like your pet to have a bath or a full groom before they come home please let a member of staff know when you first arrive so they can complete the necessary booking forms at 'The Dog Matters Grooming Salon', and inform a member of the grooming staff who will discuss your individual requirements.
